What time does the event start?

Live events run from 8h00 to 17h00. As a courtesy to the presenter, others, and yourself, please arrive by 7h30 to sign in and to get settled before the start time.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch as well as food and beverages during tea times are included in the registration cost. Please enjoy this time of fellowship and networking with your colleagues!

What should I bring to the event?

We provide pens and handout materials. Please dress in layers as it can be hard to accommodate individual room temperature preferences.

Is there still space available for the seminar I would like to attend?

Space is available unless the course indicates that registration is closed. Because it can be difficult to anticipate if a seminar will sell out, early registration is recommended, and early bird registration gets you a discount. It pays to plan ahead!

Can I register for a seminar at the door?

Acacia carefully plans our events to create a great customer experience, which includes arranging for ample space, food, other accommodations as well as having a smooth check-in experience. For those reasons, we generally discourage walk-in registrations.

Please email to inquire about the possibility of a walk-in registration at least one day prior to the seminar. We will do our best to help but make no promises in these cases.

Please note that participants with a walk-in registration will not receive a hard copy of their certificate. You will be sent an electronic copy of the receipt following the seminar.

What payment options do you offer?

Acacia accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover for its live and online seminars. In-house trainings may be paid with an electronic funds transfer.

Do you accept purchase orders for event registration fees?

No. Full payment must be made prior to seminars.

Do you offer discounted seminar rates?

Yes, we offer a 10% early bird rate and group rates for groups of 4 and more registering together. The early bird rate ends two months prior to the scheduled program.

Can my group pay separately and still get the group discount?

Unfortunately we cannot offer the group discount under these circumstances.

Can I be a seminar aide for a discounted rate?

We accommodate one aide per workshop on a first come, first served basis. If you are friendly, motivated, and organized, please email to inquire.

Seminar aides must arrive by 7:00am on all days of the event and be willing to assist at all breaks, throughout the lunch break, and up to 30 minutes after the end of the workshop. You will not miss out on any part of the presentation.

I registered but did not receive a confirmation email.

Email confirmation and your receipt are sent immediately after submitting your registration and payment. Please be aware spam filters can block email receipts. Please double-check your junk mail folder before contacting us. If you did not receive confirmation and a receipt contact

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

All cancellations for any seminar must be submitted by email at Non-attendance at an event without notice will result in loss of the entire registration fee without exceptions.

Refunds Options:
• 14 business days or more prior to the event: full refund.
• Less than 14 business days prior to the event: full seminar credit toward a future seminar.
• Less than one full business day prior to the event: no refund or credit under any circumstances will be available.

Please note that costs related to venue space, food, faculty honorarium, faculty travel and lodging and other expenses are paid by Acacia prior to live seminars. We therefore must adhere to a fair but stringent cancellation policy.

Can I transfer my registration to another participant?

Yes, but please email us at least 24 hours prior to the seminar with the transfer information.

How many Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits is each seminar accredited for?

One-day workshops are typically accredited for 6 CPDs, two-day workshops for 12 CPDs and three-day workshops for 18 CPDs. Please note that this number may vary, so refer to each program’s stated credit information to verify.

Can I get credit for partial attendance?

To be in compliance with licensing and accreditation you must plan to attend the entire program. Participants who are significantly late or leave significantly early will have the lost time documented on the certificate of attendance. Allowing for partial credit is then up to the participant’s licensing board, not Acacia.

I forgot to pick up or lost my certificate. How can I get another one?

Log into your Acacia account to retrieve a certificate. Please remember to use your correct email account (the one you registered with). Alternatively, you can email for assistance. These requests will generally take one business day to process.

Can I earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit from your online seminars?

Yes, credit is provided through our online partners. Please follow the directions contained in your course to obtain your credit. Note that the accreditation offered for these courses will be accepted in South Africa.

How long do I have to watch the online seminars?

Your purchase does not expire, so you have until the end of time or the collapse of the world wide web to watch the seminar. Buy with confidence.

How many times can I watch the recordings?

There is no playback limit so you can watch the recordings as many times as you would like.

How will I receive my Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit and certificate?

Please follow the online directions to receive credit and your certificate. To do so, log into your account at

From there you will see an orange Certificate button. Please click on that button, fulfill all certification requirements and then you will be able to download or email the certificate to yourself or others. PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to access your certificate until after a program has finished.

I'm having technical difficulties. Can you help me?

If you experience difficulty with loading your video, check your internet and/or try a different browser. For downloads, check options for where your course downloaded to on your computer.
